Yes, that is a very literal interpretation. Why can't it just mean that the new kids rides will be space themed? What makes it HAVE to be a height/speed thing?
because they usually don't theme kids space rides that specifically, this is a saturn V rocket. also usually major amusement parks don't release teasers for smaller kiddy attractions rather then advertise them on the park map during the next season

I think this will be more than "a few kiddie rides." I think this could be a major area transformation, possibly including a small family coaster. (Think Runaway Reptar or smaller) I could even maybe see a small family launch coaster, if they really want that launch record back.
Cedar Fair has done a ton of marketing for the Snoopy renovations, they haven't just put it on a map for next year. They just got I305. I don't see them getting anything for enthusiasts except mmmmaybe if they add a flat ride but I bet it'll be planet snoopy.
