Available at Upgrade Services which is located just across the bridge in Carowinds Plaza. Carowinds is the only amusement park I have been to since 2006 that I can stay all day and still run out of time to ride all the rides I want. That includes two trips in 2011 and Opening Day this season. That is open to close eating one meal and a snack.

So you have to PURCHASE in-park dollars at a 10% discount? I'm sorry but that's garbage. They ought to go back to the "buy a gold season pass and display it in order to receive a 10% discount on meals and merchandise" that they had in place a while ago. And generally, I can get on every major ride (or every major worth-while ride) that I want to do roughly in maybe 2 hours time. I don't see how it would take all day and still miss some rides unless you're purposely going on the busiest days of the year.

I don't think they're a crappy park. Now they're even better. Places like disney world (which is what carowinds meant to be like) are boring to me. There is not many thrilling rides like intimidator and afterburn. It's just teacups and boat rides. To me, thrill is more important than theming. (But you do need theming to make seem "better") Carowinds is amazing, and a land mark for enthusiast.

I think that Carowinds is the same principle of the movie 'midnight in paris' where we basically will never be completely happy with they way things are. no matter what the park replaces, refurb's, or construct's, we will always want something that we had before (nostalgic,) or want something new. :P
