Well of course Knott's Berry farm has a higher attendance. It has the highest attendance of any Cedar Fair. It would of course have more with for one being in a larger city, and most of all being a park that is open year round.

Today I was riding drop tower, (facing away from the park) and in the woods behind hurler the park has cleared out a medium-large size area and filled it with construction equipment. I can't begin to speculate at this time, but still...

I rode Hydro at Oakwood in Wales a few years ago which is Perilous Plunge's sister pretty much.

It was surprisingly rough which you wouldn't expect a flume to be, and I didn't like the OSTR's (but can understand why they are there). But it does make a GIANT splash, and is impressive to look at.

I don't think that we are getting a flume ride of that size because Boomerang Bay's theme doesn't match the big metal supports on a ride like Perilous Plunge

I know it was removed for repairs when a large storm blew through. Didn't notice if they put it back or not after that.

I think the Hurler's location is an extremely strategic spot for a large ride. You want to drag people to the back of the park so they'll buy food, games, and ride other rides in between that new "big ride" and the entrance. Something new and shiny in the Hurler's place would bring in some more profit for the park.

Intimidator is the eye-candy that drags people to the park, a new ride in the place of Hurler drags people to the back of the park. This has been my resume for a position at Cedar Fair. Thank you and goodnight.

I always come off Hurler with my knees bloody. I'd be happy to see it replaced even with another woodie...something like Thunderhead would be perfect.

I dont see a difference in the metal structures in this ride and all the slides in the waterpark. Hey Put it out in the parking lot beside T Road, You would see that splash from the road its so big

Oh okay that's a little different. I thought that we were talking about Perilous Plunge being constructed where White Water Falls is currently operating. I do think that Carowinds should refurbish the width of the q line to white water falls though. it has always seemed a little narrow!
