I wouldn't consider Iron Rattler to be a wood coaster anymore. Just like Texas Giant, it's going to be steel with wood frame (steel hybrid). Even rcdb has it listed as steel now: http://www.rcdb.com/56.htm. As far as the "first claims" it will be the first coaster with Iron Horse Track to go inverted.

Don't get me wrong there has been some rides moved from one park to another which is good for the general public in each market and very little for the enthusiasts but it seems to me that Six Flags is making good use of their properties and their own attractions. Cedar Fair has essentially wasted some good rides for scrap that could have been good just to transplant to another park. I'm not complaining that CF is focusing on new state of the art attractions I just get the feeling there is a TON of waste going on within the company. Does anyone else agree?
And by the way did anyone notice that the layout for Gold Striker is the same exact layout that was on Screamscape several years ago?
Oh and Iron Rattler while looking amazing can it really claim the first wood coaster with a barrel roll when Outlaw has two and has been talked about longer?
