Also I like the suggestion of improving the jukebox diner and making it into a sit-down restaurant. It's got a lot more potential than just the same ol fast food stuff you see everywhere else in the park because of its location and theming. Also Carowinds needs a sit-down restaurant. Sure, fast food is popular at a theme park but I think it would be cool to have a regular restaurant at Carowinds.
A fresh coat of paint on everything from handrails to roller coasters would be amazing. Also, a nice pressure wash of the concrete to get rid of the gum would be nice.


Oh and MOAR TREEZ.

Being from the west coast, I miss In-N-Out more then anything. I would die for a double double, animal style fries, and neapolitan shake. I also agree with repainting, and repaving. Would like to see lower prices in food, more waterfountains, more selection in food, and get rid of the dinosaures alive

I do hate the whole idea of dinasours alive, Personally And i think someone already said this but we should tear down skyflyer, go carts and rip roarin rapids and put a launch coaster in its place also drop tower should get replced with a power tower. hurler should get replaced aith a diffrent wooden coaster. I dont expect this all to happen within a year or two but i do think all these should be completed by 2016

Am I the only one who feels the last thing I wanna see inside a theme park is a fast food joint thats probably a few miles away from the park also??? Basically I think no parks should have chain resturants inside its gates. I thought theme parks were a place to escape the "real world"?

If they are going to have a chain inside the park, it would be preferable that it is somewhere you can't get in the region. Like an In-N-Out or Pink's. I dont have a huge problem however with them having a restaurant that is in the region in a park like Carowinds. The only time I would have a problem with this is if it was in a more resort type park like Walt Disney World.

I havent seen much talk on the fourms lately so i decided to make a new topic!
What Park improvements does everybody want for 2013? not rides stuff like merchandise,food, scenery etc. put your own ideas and comment on others

Heres my list:
More Creative and diverse food options
More landscaping(specifically trees)
Better entertainment(Shows that arent musicals!)
More Food and merchandise in boomerang bay

I had a season pass in 2010, 2011, and this presesnt year, and I really miss how they ran carowinds in 2010, such as having better music (1950s-1960s); now the music isnt really that fun. Also, i had a season pass back in 2008. I hated how they changed nickelodeon central to planet snoopy. Many of my friends were also dissapointed. Here is what I want Carowinds to improve in 2013/the future:

-bring nickelodeon back!
-bring the 1950-60s music back
-add more thrill rides (I would be really happy if they added a LIM ride)
-add more props in the walking area
-make rides like thunder road, the hurler, and the cyclone smoother
-bring back rides from the "early age" of carowinds (like white lightning)
-put back the flying super saturator in the water park
-lower prices (like on food and season pass[$5 for fries and over $75 for a pass!])
-some type of transport system like a monorail

scarowinds:

-add a maze with a cool theme like alien abduction or something like that (maybe where the open area of grass where the intimidator is)
-make the chainsaws better like in 2011 (the sound like hair dryers now and don't sound scary at all)
-more people out to scare in the walking paths
-make the blood drums showtime longer (one of my favorite parts of scarowinds)

I also agree with you Carowinds needs a sit-down restaurant which offer vegan food for vegetarian. Sure, ready made meals is well-known at an amusement park but I think it would be awesome to have a frequent cafe at Carowinds.

SCarowinds improvement:
- Actual scarezones, like scarezones at knotts scary farm
- More shows, Blood drums is great but more shows would be better
- Give the mazes storylines, Mazes are like books- they gradually get more intense over time
- More street characters

Yeah! They should play Metallica and Avneged Sevenfold!Espescially in Planet Snoopy, every time I go through there, they play "Puff The Magic Dragon". It's like they plan it that way!

Let the photos taken by the roller coaster camera be more realistic looking. there is too much fake border and background stuff that surrounds the original photo images. if the photos were more realistic looking, i think more people will buy them.

Umm, I must of been dreaming, But I thought Night Hawk had an on ride photo. I though it was either before or after the loop. (Haven't been to the park in almost 3 years)
