For the time in being, I'll have to say No.
<a href='http://www.amusementbusiness.com/amusementbusiness/images/pdf/2003-top-50-north-america.pdf' target='_blank'>Attendance last year</a> was rounded to 1,776,000 and 224,000 guests is quite a jump to make in one operating season.
Considering that in <a href='http://www.ibiblio.org/darlene/coaster/FAQ/FAQ.attendance.html' target='_blank'>1993</a>, 11 years ago, Carowinds had 1,600,000 visitors, we've moved up slowly, but I'm beggining to think that is because the park is pulling as many visitors as it can currently. After all, Charlotte, unlike Williamsburg or Pigeon Forge, is a banking city, so there are not really that many tourists to visit.
Maybe we'll break 2 million in a few years, but I don't see it right now. Top Gun and the Borg *** certainly help though.
