I've seen alot of you guys talking about CoasterStock and I'm just curious as to what it is.

Coaster Stock is an event at Carowinds, designed for enthusiasts that was held in 2009, 2010, and 2011. It had special things that the normal public didn't get to be a part of such as Exclusive Ride Time, Q&A's with Park Staff, Trivia, and of course food.

It took a year off last year, but will hopefully be back this year.

Is it special admission, do have to be media or a season pass holder? Or is it open to the public?

It is open to everyone, but not advertised to everyone, so it doesn't get too crowded. Most non-enthusiasts would find the majority of the event boring I imagine.

If memory serves correctly, the price was around 20 bucks with a season pass, and not much more than a single day ticket without one. These could be off, it's been about a year and a half since the last one!

It took a year off last year, but will hopefully be back this year.

I've got it under good authority that the event will not be back for 2013 either.

That really sucks if true. Is bringing C3 back an option?

That will be happening I'm proud to announce.

I'm still working with the park on a date and while a few have been proposed, none have been confirmed. With CoasterStock down and out, this give us and the park a chance to really make C3 spectacular. Once the park has confirmed stuff, of course I'll post it here.
