Notice that Carowinds get a call out for strong performance. Strong Performance, plus a couple years of low spending will hopefully equal some nice additions. I'd like to see a couple good flags and some new slides in the water park. Then maybe a coaster in a couple years.

Great find. This is really interesting. As for what this means for Carowinds, I imagine the next big installment for Carowinds will be on the level of Intimidator either next year, or a few years after. Not necessarily being literally as large as Intimidator, but the next coaster being another signature coaster for Carowinds, like Intimidator and Afterburn.

I doubt the next coaster will be a signature coaster and I hope it isn't. The park needs flats and a waterparking expansion before they need another coaster.

But yes couldn't agree more. How about we fill in the Intimidator field with a nice big frisbee type ride or Screamin' Swing before any more major coasters are added. As well as some smaller ones sprinkled throughout the park.

Also, can we take out Dinosaurs Alive yet? No? Drat.

I was happy to see that Carowinds made the list of top five performing parks, too.

I don't want to beat a dead horse...but I will. Hopefully they can see the value in updating/expanding the water park. I didn't realize how bad it was until I went to Aquatica, Wet n Wild Orlando, and Myrtle Waves last year.

Heres the plan:
-Take out carowinds campground expand water park to there and add some slides and such
-Take out all the parking lot from afterburn on and expand the county fair area
-In the expanded county fair area we would have the room for 3 or 4 good flat rides like screaming swing or maXair
-Replace hurler with a newer wood/metal coaster (Like the new iron rattler at sixflags fiesta texas)
-Turn the new land carowinds bought into parking and turn the current season pass and bus parking into a resort
-Take out DA and put in something else
-Also a good coaster here and there
This should proably go in the wishlist thread but everybody was talking about stuff here so its here
All this stuff most likely wouldnt get done till 2020

All that stuff isn't likely to get done at all.

Campground is a moneymaker. Besides they have room to expand the waterpark.

A few modern flats thruout the park would be nice. Honestly, if they should rove anything, I say remove the amphitheater. Already buildings and infrastructure there got a new section. Just add a coaster, a couple flats, reprint and update tge shops and bathrooms already there and u have a new section.
