So, as you know, Carowinds is opening is opening in a week from tomorrow, and my dad says we have to go to Raleigh, NC on opening day for Easter. I don't want to miss going to Carowinds on opening day b/c we have gone there opening day for 2 consecutive years, my friends are going, and it would ruin the trip to Raleigh if I was wanting to go the whole time. So, how do I make my dad take us a day later, or something? Thanks for answering!

The park will be there all year for your enjoyment, no need to fret over missing opening day (which will probably be quite crowded).

If it's a cool day..which it probably will be since the weather is so weird, everything will be walk-on. I can't believe how few people were there in 2010 on opening day (it was very cool and windy).

As it stands now, the low is 41 with a high of 62 and a 10% chance of rain. However, it changes all the time.

It will be good weather, with a 0% chance of rain, so i highly doubt that

The park will be open for another seven months and the rides will still be there so having to be there on opening day isn't that big of a deal.

If the off-season blues are that rough, perhaps you should look at going to some other parks during the Carowinds off season.
