Hi everyone!! I'm a 37 year old mom of 3 that loves the coasters and anything fast. I am trying to get all three of my girls as excited as I am to ride, so far so good. I have a couple of questions for the veterans out there. I bought my passes at the end of last year and I know I am supposed to get free parking this year with the season pass. How do I get in the lot without paying the parking fee the first time this year since I don't have my card yet, just the printed paperwork from purchasing online? Also, I noticed online that they are having fireworks on 3/30/13 and that the season pass holder parking lot will be closed all day. Can we park elsewhere and it still be free? Our one visit in the fall with our 2013 passes was the first one we had made about 8 years. We had a great time, weather was dreary but lines were non existant, awesome day in the park. Any tips that will help us this season would be appreciated? Thanks!

bring your receipt with you the first trip (You'll need it to get your passes made as well). Just show it to the attendant either at the pass holder lot or at the regular lot entrance. You'll get your parking for free. you can park in either lot for free all year with your pass

I was wondering if I could renew my 2012 gold pass at the early season pass processing days at the park?

2012 season passes can be renewed at Carowinds.com, if you chose to keep the same pass (es).

No If you know where the exit is at the main gate You got to the outside of that exit and look to your left anf you'll see it ( Theres usually some signs pointing it out )

No, it is just outside the maingate to the left.

1 more question does anybody know what time on normal operation days that the season pass center opens? I hoping it opens at 9 like cedar point does so I can process my pass before 10am and hopefully beat some of the crowd

Well you may have just missed it but ther was early processing yesterday and today. I got my pass processed today around 3pm. They may be open until 5:30 I think but if not you will probably be in that massive line the first month or so.

They are. Just go to the shop and buy a new pass and then click renew an old pass.
