General Carowinds discussion

While at the park yesterday (Sunday, March 31st) while riding Hurler I noticed the trim that is at the bottom of the first hill was not on. This lead to a more exciting ride due to it not being so slow while going through the course. I can't remember the last time I have ridden Hurler and the trim being off, if I have ever. I was wondering if anyone else can confirm that it was off on the other days the park has been open so far.

I have only rode once where I was felt the trim brake, I doubt they just turn it off. Most likely, the train wasnt going fast enough to trip it. Example, A single rider on Ricochet will have a trimless ride through the hairpins, whereas a fully loaded car will always get the brakes before one of the hairpins, normally the 5th.

I rode it Saturday and that was the first thing I noticed, no trim. It wasn't hitting at all on Saturday, for the first time in a while. I got a few rides either last SCarowinds or the previous year where it was off late in October.

It was running very well Saturday. So was Thunder Road. The last 2 hills on each side are a little bouncy, but the ride is miles above what it was.
