Based on the patern I've seen with Cedar Fair, I'd guess nothing big until 2015.

2009 - Diamondback
2010 - Intimidator

2014 - King's Island mystery ride
2015 - Carowinds mystery ride???

KI is getting an invert next year. I could maybe see a wing coaster at carowinds. I'd love to see some major flat next year and a coaster for 2015. I'd prefer something other than a wing coaster but we'll see.

Kings Island getting an Invert? Doubt it, correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the very possible rumor of a contract with cedar fair and B&M involving 3 giga coasters. (Leviathan being one of them.) This would make sense Kings Island is supposedly clearing A LOT OF LAND. But this is a rumor, but I still don't think an Invert is what Kings Island will be receiving, especially since they're not B&M's main product at the moment. That prize goes to wing coasters. But hey, World's of Fun did get Patriot in 2006, anything could happen.

Hey I did say it was probably just a rumor. But for now, nothings official. I think cedar fair wants to keep Kings Island's coaster more of a surprise after just ruining all the fun by flat out telling everyone cedar point was getting wing coaster. Months before the reveal! So as I said, nothings official, for all we know. King's Island might get a dive, floorless or (hopefully not) a sitting coaster. We'll just have to wait to find out, but that doesn't mean we can't speculate! Anyways, back to Carowinds, my bets on a snoopy or water park expansion. If we're lucky enough, a flat at the Intimidator field.

Never said there was a contract for sure. Anyways, an Invert seems most reasonable, but it's not what I believe will happen. Once again, lets get back to then topic of possible Carowinds 2014 expansions.

I don't know, I really doubt it's an invert, I think it's a giga. The name "Banshee" sounds more like a giga to me.

Sorry to REMAIN off topic.............

But if Canada's Wonderland and Kings Island are BOTH pretty EVENLY attended parks and both owned by CF, then if CW got a Giga, why is it so out of the realm of possibility for KI to get one? You could say it's because they have diamondback but CW had behemoth too, so that alone makes it seem at least possible to me......

And what do people have against wing coasters? I think they look fun and unique

You know how I know they're not getting a Giga? Because I know what they're getting. I didn't say they couldn't get one. I'm simply saying they're not getting one for 2014. Because they're getting an inverted coaster. Speculate and read rumors all you want. I don't have to.

I wish you wouldn't be so confident in your invert without giving us any information as to how you know. If you're under some contract or whatever to not give out information about it, you're not doing a good job.

I'm not under contract. But I'm also not gonna post information on here that isn't for me to post. Believe it or not. I don't care either way.
