Is it really cheaper? I guarantee you Carowinds has stock photos of every single ride in the park. If not, it literally takes 15 minutes of a marketing person walking out the door of their office and into the park over to the ride.

Ultimately, it's just lazy, but it also doesn't really matter to anyone except coaster nerds, so maybe it's an intentional move to get a rise out of people on here.

This is my biggest pet peeve when it comes to Carowinds marketing. Paramount was also bad but Cedar Fair is the worst. It may not matter to anyone but coaster nerds but it is noticed by most anyone with connected brain cells that frequents the park. Kids are way more visually aware than CF thinks, that the coasters they show on TV commercials are not what they'll find at Carowinds. Some of what they show is so blatantly obvious not Carowinds it's a wonder no one has filed a claim against the park for false advertisement. I agree with Jonathan in that its just plain laziness...no more, no less

I can see it for the generic advertising, but to put a completely different ride on the site page of a specific ride, that's messed up.
