North Gate has changed little since 1973, it should stay that way. The locker/stroller area could stand to be moved across the bridge where upgrade services is. I cant imagine CFEC building as nice a facility as the Plantation house. However, I would be for moving the metal detectors inside the Plantation house and getting rid of the ugly pagodas.

Seasonal employees are rarely made aware of future plans in advance of the general public and normally when they are, it is because they were somewhere they werent supposed to be. To tell ya how sseriously they take it, I was put on final notice for sharing information that ending up being not true. So for any employees paying attention, Never share any information with anyone. Let the PR dept do it.

So I guess that sort of confirms that something is going to happen to Carowinds worth talking about. It could be a new coaster, (the odds of that happening are 1 in a 1,000,000), but most likely just a new entrance or a parking lot. I really hope they just keep the old entrance and just make it look nicer. By the way, speaking of coasters, other than the massive project going on over at Kings Island. Does anyone else know of any rumored plans that Cedar Fair has up their sleeve for 2014. I remember the screamscape rumor that Cedar Point is supposed to get a dark ride in 2014, but haven't heard much about that rumor recently. To my knowledge the only Cedar Fair parks being discussed for 2014 rumors at the moment are (of coarse) Kings Island and the unknown project happening at Carowinds.

A family announcing a new addition, hmm, I guess it would be cool to announce a new ride. Now that I've got that figured out, does anyone know when or if Carowinds will announce what all the spray-painted dots and survey markings are for?
