At Carowinds today, and noticed Vortex is down. Both trains are put up and there is some sort of machine under the lift hill beside the first loop. Does anyone know what's going on?

Where are the trains put up at? Have they been taken off the track or are they just sitting there?

They are on the second track. The storage track. Both of them are on there.

I heard from a source that the Vortex failed a opening safety inspection due to a broken support. Was estimated to be down for 2-3 days so that the support beam could be fixed.

Got to the park about 4:30 today (Tuesday) and Vortex was down. Later in the evening, though, it was up and fully running.
