Hmmmm just saw some pictures of the "kings island" website with the new ride... titled THE BAT and its a wing coaster that goes over 70mph.... not sure if its legit or not but I guess we will see in 3 days... You never know those blue-prints could have been faked

hahaha yea... it can go either way. I dont know the webpage looked pretty legit and I kind of believe it more than the plans posted on youtube, because I dont see how blueprints would just be hanging up where any employee could see.... But what do I know... we will just have to wait and see... Either way I will likely be going back to KI next year to ride it, a top-notch inverted coaster would be awesome but another Wing rider I wouldnt mind it either. Now if only these wing riders would get the back 2 cars turned backwards...... hmmm.....

The 'websites' are the fakes. If Cedar Fair still uses the same company that they used to, the person responsible for their park sites is a huge enthusiast, and it wouldn't surprise me if this was his doing as it fits his past MO.

I think this is a false tease using the name of a former ride, just like Carowinds teased with White Lightnin plans before announcing Intimidator. I don't think Cedar Fair would add another wing coaster just after Gatekeeper at Cedar Point. I think a record breaking inverted coaster from B&M may be more likely, using the name Banshee. But we shall soon know for sure in just a few hours. But making the big announcement after dark does possibly lend credence to a bat theme. So maybe an invert called The Bat. Again we shall soon see.

I have not been paying attention to this whole KI addition, outside of what is posted here and me google'ing the picture of the KI Bat page. Now that I've seen that, it's clear that the website was the fake and the blueprints are the real deal.

But I've been wrong before.

Nice new restraints on the ride, but I am guessing the track at the B&M plant is not going to KI because its not blue... Well I was close guessing 225ft tall 208 is still pretty tall and that "de-throned alpengeist, which I figured was the hint at the beginning. Looks like a nice ride and I guess I will be planning a trip to KI and CP next year!!

Whos going to go ride this next year? What are your guys' thoughts on the color scheme.... I honestly dont really care for pink of any shade... but I like that is DIFFERENT. It seems its always red, blue, green, yellow that are the main colors on coasters and this is actually different.... So now... what about the BLUE track at the B&M plant.... where could it be going..... :?

Two things, Edwardo, how did you know what Kings Island would be getting 1 month in advance, that's impressive. :o

Also, the blue track, hmm, Heide Park's wing coaster is white track and green supports. Maybe the blue track is something Six Flags has up their sleeve.
