I can't tell you how much I disagree with you... 3 new attractions in one year. For the past couple of years, we have only been getting one attraction per year. We had 11 total mazes/zones last year and this year we have 12! That's something to celebrate! If you want 10 mazes, go to HHN and pay twice as much as you do for SCarowinds.

There's more that goes into a maze then just the theme. There's Character concept, Audio, Lighting, Location, Set design, Costuming, Construction, And many other logistics and planning. Its harder to make mazes then you may think, That's the reason scarowinds cant just pack on mazes (not to mention the extreme cost factor of materials, actors etc.) But I do agree they should've just left dead inn alone.

Maybe for some reason (Fire code or whatever) they couldn't use the arcade as a maze location anymore. And they new this off season of last year and also new camp killaue was leaving so they decided to build a warehouse behind the arcade for mazes.

There's this thing that exists that's called a "budget."

I think Dead Inn was removed because of Zombie High School. I mean if they had kept Dead Inn, look at that area of the park! Three mazes basically right next to each other! Plus (maybe) a show! That would be way too crowded.
