well I would assume the first launch would be a block or maybe the "trick track" where it moves from one side to the other or whatever, the ending brake run, the lift hill.... Wondering if the station will hold 2 trains at once or something. I can see that it should handle 3 trains pretty easy, I mean the ending brake only needs to hold 2 trains right? Not really sure, I guess it depends on how long they are as well, not sure if its like 6 cars per train or what...

I'm guessing the four blocks required for three trains are station, lift, show building and brake run. So when one launches from the station, one should be on the final brakes with one in the show building waiting to reverse launch as soon as the brake run clears.

The timing is gonna have to be damn near spot on so someone doesn't get hung up on a block somewhere.

But...verbolten is a true full circuit coaster. It doesnt have to traverse the same track twice and thats where my confusion comes in...

In my head I picture it kind of like this. The train that is ending its run stops on a brake run at the end just like any normal coaster would. After the train in the station clears the launch the transfer track slides over and the train that just finished rolls backwards into the station, then the track slides back over for it to launch. From a blocking standpoint it is fundamentally no different than a normal coaster (if this is in fact how it works).

From what I was told and understood, it's all on the same track. The scribble description that I got from someone at the park was like the attached picture.

Keep in mind, the layout is garbage, and is just shown as a reference.

Soooo...should we expect something like grizzly mountain in terms of the seamless transitions from forward to backwards? Or...something like Th13teen where the stops are more noticable?

I'm guessing more of a seamless transition that the riders won't notice.

YEa I would think seamless, because the track should be changing while you are in the event building, right? Its my understanding you will stop in the building for the scene to happen and then shoot out backwards, am I correct on this? Man I was just sitting here thinking, what if verbolten turned you backwards before the drop and then launched backwards, that would be frickin awesome

They're going to be slowly releasing teasers leading up to the full animation for the ride. Here's the first one (doesn't show much):

I memorized the whole layout just by watching this. VERY impressive! This looks better than maverick at CP or any launched coaster for that matter. I even think this looks better than Banshee! Or Goliath! Or Helix! What I'm trying to say is that this coaster should when best new attraction for the 2014 Golden Ticket Awards. I hope more parks do this type of coaster. Gerstlauer outdid themselves. :D My only complaint would be the capacity. On a normal day here at Carowinds, it's about of 30 minute wait for a 2 minute coaster with 28 seats (carolina cobra). This ride last longer and has less seats, so on a normal day (saturdays, sundays) this coaster would probably be a 60 minute wait. Should be worth the wait though! :D

It has multiple trains.
