I see no sarcasim there. A simple question on Why would they repaint it and a simple reply that he thinks it would remain the same color.

If the new coaster turns out to have a lot of black in the track colors then painting Vortex a contrasting color would be the smart thing to do. It needs a good coat of paint anyway. The paint scheme on PGA Vortex looks good just lose the yellow on the rails and make the track solid purple like Apollo's Chariot at BGW.

I like oarnge because I think it will look great with that lime green from the new coaster.

I agree with wrbcltnc. I really think Vortex is in need of a new coat of paint, especially since it's going to be right next to a newly painted one! It'll just make it more obvious that a new coat of paint is needed.
