LOL'd when I saw this. Classic uninformed park guest........
Anyways, if cwinds2015 isn't lying to us, I drew up a picture of the new location for the Skyflyer:
Xtreme Skyflyer new location.jpg

Maybe guest will enter through the trendz store where there is a stand for buying rides on the Skyflyer. After guest buy their ride, they go onto a wooden deck over the water where they are strapped into the harness and fly over the water. I think there is more space for the arch on the RFD side than the plaza side. I imagine trees would have to be cut down if the park is planning on putting the ride there. Unless the park is planning on the riders getting splinters through their skulls. :x ouch. Also, this isn't a completely accurate picture because the ride is in close proximity to the Windseeker. So the arch would be moved back. Of course, I could be completely wrong because I have no proof.

I got a rendering! Thanks tarheel!

Sorry, can't provide hardcore proof, just my word, and knowing so far what I have said has happened as it was told to all of you. And the fact that other, obviously more trustworthy places than me, are starting to state what I have been saying for a week now.

What other sites? Screamscape? Call me crazy, but if Skycoaster is being moved to the river. Wouldnt we see ground prep on the windseeker cam? Also, wouldnt make more sense to have the new footings ready before removing it. Rent the crans to dismantle and reassemble at the same week.

I guess it depends on how much they have to do for it? I don't see it taking that long to build this thing back, I mean it is 5 months or so until opening.... I really hope they at least paint it, but lighting effects would be awesome as well..

I hope that "london of terror" cam comes back up if they do decide to move it... or at least position it to the new restaurant... I see the only thing they really mention is the construction of the water slides in the off season, so I guess they will start on that soon? Maybe we will get a cam for that as well....

The other site I saw mentioning this "rumor" was behind the thrills. It may have just been that they read these forums or something, I am sure its being discussed in a lot of places but I never check other forums really, just saw them mention it on facebook...

Was proteinic's picture not proof enough that it was disconnected?

I literally parked, walked over the hill into the parking lot and took the pic. It's real tarheel1231.

see that was your mistake. You should have drawn a picture of it in 30 seconds in MS Paint and then there would have been no doubt in tarheels mind.

Haha!!! Being a graphic/web designer, I will never use MS Paint for anything. Hell before I became one I still didn't use it.

^ :( I found the park webcam for the Windseeker and I saw the pond. It looked drained. I can't tell, but maybe the park is about to start ground work for the Skyflyer before filling up the pool.

Also, the cornhole tournament is today. If anyone is planning on going down to the park, could you get more pictures of the Skyflyer Arch?
