Personally, I would transform the Ghost Rider at Knotts Berry Farm. There are so many moments on that coaster that could be used as twists and turns. The first drop could be significantly better with an 85 degree drop.

Mean Streak would probably look like the New Texas Giant from the looks of the layout. Personally I like Mean Streak the way it looks (actually I didn't get to ride it while at Cedar Point), so I would just throw some timberliners on it. Cedar Point already has two hybrid coasters (Gemini and Cedar Creek Mine). Another woodie I would transform would be Grizzly at California's Great America. The park doesn't have a big coaster. Sure, maybe Goldstriker is great but I see a lot more potential in this park.

Mean Streak isn't "bad" after the most recent work on it, but it isn't good either. It went from being an incredibly rough and boring ride to a not-too-rough but still incredibly boring ride. As long as there are so many trim brakes the ride will be boring, and the brakes are there because otherwise the ride tears itself apart.

Nothing can save that coaster except for a complete re-imagination. For a coaster that is so massive and so breathtaking to look at, it should be an iconic ride in that park. It isn't.

All Ghostrider needs is track work. It was great last December.

Now that SoB is gone, I'd love to see MS get it. I could see so much iron horse potential. Having ridden Giant and Rattler post transformation, I'd live to see them do that at CP.

Ghostrider without a doubt! I only had the courage to ride it once this past october. It was really the worst roller coaster I have been on.

My vote is for Mean Streak, also. It would be a great way for CF to try this out on one of their coasters.

I always thought they were mirror clones but it appears mean streak was about 30 ft taller and about 1000ft longer. But still...very similar in design.

They are similar in the same way that Behemoth, Diamondback, and Intimidator are similar. Giant woodies built near the same time by the same builder. That being said, they couldn't ride more different. Mean Streak slow and boring, Old Texas Giant was pretty fast and fun.
