Construction is underway for Lake Erie Eagles and Pipe Scream at Cedar Point. I hope Carowinds will get rid of the dinosaurs and use the Intimidator field for a planet snoopy expansion. A Snoopy's junction that goes all the way around planet snoopy would be nice.
Also, the Busch Gardens Williamsburg 2014 attraction at Water Country appears to be a water slide.

It looks very similar to our Surfer's Swell except longer.

Have you not read anything? The intimidator field will be OCCUPIED by the new restaurant next year.... Why would the Dinosaurs leave? They just arrived..... You can count on that NOT happening... just sayin'...

^The park could build behind the restaurant. Anyways Kings Dominion released this picture of..... uh WTF? It has something to do with the 40th year celebration. Maybe It's an old ride from when the park opened?

It looks kind of like a lion/tiger. The park is retheming Congo to Safari Village. Maybe the park is adding a safari again! It would be cool to see a Cedar Fair park get a safari. Kings Dominion could build one easily with all that land. we'll see tomorrow. UPDATE: Singing Mushrooms are back.

Dino's aren't leaving for at least a few years.

Probably not gonna be room in the infield to expand planet snoop-lion.

I remember Busch Gardens saying that the Colossal Curl would be the only one of it's kind in the country. Six Flags Over Georgia's Hurricane Harbor actually has the same slide but with a bowl instead of a funnel. I'd probably ride the One at Hurricane Harbor. In fact, the one at Hurricane Harbor is a combination of both of Carowinds slides (Surfer's Swell and Dorsal Fin Drop). Conspiracy?

^Water Country's Slide

^The orange slide to the left is the combo of Carowind's slides.

The park is retheming Congo to Safari Village.

So now instead of Congo it will be Safari Village that has Avalanche, Flight of Fear, and Intimidator-305. Makes sense.

Nice try tarheel. Not picking on you, but while you're researching every other park out there, you could also brush up a little on this one.

Totally happening. But who knows, you may be right.

Sorry for double posting, the website won't allow more than three pictures:
This is the park layout/map. It lists the rides to the left.
This is Phase one and Phase two of construction. You can find more information and pictures here at: www.grandtx.com

America's tallest Waterslide? HELL YEAH! Problem is, I wouldn't be able to make it out to Kentucky for a few years so....... hmmm...... this is of course VERY exciting news. The world's first Hyper Lite from Morgan is coming to the USA!

Thunder Run Refurbished!

Overall, these additions are great. Especially the water park! Watch out Splashin' Safari, I think Hurricane Bay is about to MURDER you! [EDIT] Notice how I said "about".

I'm also very excited about Lightning Run. It goes well with Thunder Run and even relates to Greezed Lightnin'. The coaster is perfect with lots of airtime and twist. My guess is that the coaster will be on of the top 5 best new attractions of 2014.

The concept coaster for the Hyper Lite said the speed was about 55 MPH. But I'm guessing that LR (that's what I'm calling Lightning Run) could reach about 60 MPH with a 100 ft. drop at 80 degrees (don't judge me, I didn't do the physics). I'm also in love with the trains. I like the sleek design and the open air look. My only complaint about the trains is the low capacity (20 people per train and only two trains? Really? :? ) but other than that, this ride is perfect. You can't go wrong with Lightning run.
