General Carowinds discussion

Are there any perks at Carowinds to get in before the park opens? Cedar Point and Kings Island each have their own versions of doing this, was hoping Carowinds would also but I don't see anything listed, at least not after Aug 11.

Thanks!

Present your 2013 Season Pass ID Card and receive 10% OFF purchase at most Food/Beverage and Merchandise locations.

Visit as many times as you'd like for both Carowinds AND SCarowinds' Halloween Haunt! Come for an hour or stay for the day - you decide with a Platinum Season Pass.

Scan your Platinum Pass at the parking booth to receive FREE parking all season - a savings of $15 per visit!

Also, the bring a friend dates for Carowinds and Scarowinds for $19.99. Other than that, that's all I am aware of. I hope this helped some what anyways.

It does - I was hopeful to get in before the big crowds (I'm assuming Sept 1 will be a busy day - it definitely is at Cedar Point) but we work within the perks that we are given!!!!

Hypothetically...

If FSU wins out, they will play in the National Championship Game in Pasadena on January 7th, 2014. Seeing as I've never been to California, I figured I might knock Knotts and Gilroy (and of course SFMM) off my list of parks to visit.

I am always out to save a buck or two and instead of buying a single day tickets and parking, I thought about purchasing the Platinum Pass at Knotts. Does it give me admission to Gilroy Gardens as well? Being a North Carolina resident, can I purchase a 2014 Platinum Pass at Knotts while I am there in January and use it when Carowinds opens for the season in March? I don't see why not, but just wanted to make sure.

That's right, it's close to California's Great Adventure, not Knotts. Back to the drawing board.
