I was excited to see it go up at first but now the pond just looks ugly. And now piece of rusty metal that you have to pay extra to ride is going in. But at least I'll have something to look at when I'm waiting for Intimidator or Windseeker. I would prefer trees in that area if anything but the skyflyer belongs in the back of the park (in that space between the Cyclone and Great Barrier Reef). Just my opinion, feel free to argue with me as I know many of you will.....

I love the new placement of the skyflyer!! Dropping over water just adds a lot more excitement to the ride. I think it'll breathe new life into the ride. All I would like to see if a fresh new color on it and LED's to light it up at night.

Really can't wait to see what it looks like and I'll be riding it next year and often.

Well at least its not red.... I kinda like some off the wall paint schemes, actually carolina cyclone would be really nice, if they had maybe faded the colors together instead of just sections.... lol I dont know if that makes sense... Cyclone just has to much going on but whatever. Ricochet needed a new paint job and I think something "off the wall" or different would definitely be nice...

Has anyone heard any additional details for the $50 million dollar project? The dining complex, water rides, and sky flyer I know are for 2014. That doesn't seem to be a huge chunk of the investment. Any additional coaster news? We are about 15 months out from the 2015 opening and still nothing. You would think with such a huge project (coaster and entrance) details would start evolving. Giga is all we know. Just curious. Thought I would stir the pot. I know if you knew something it would be posted. Anyways, Happy Holidays! Great forum.

^ I suspect we won't hear anything new future-wise until the beginning of the 2014 season. In the forum below (Afterburn being re-painted), there is a video on Afterburn getting a paint job. Ricochet is being repainted with lime green track, teal arms and blue supports.
