Have you ever been to a park that has just pissed you off with it's service? I remember when I was 8, my family and I went to Darien Lake for a summer vacation. I was 53 and 1/2 inches tall and I was in the test seat for Ride of Steel. I couldn't figure out how to undo the seat belt and restraints and when I asked the attendant how was I supposed to get out, he replied dryly, "figure it out, it's like all the other restraints in the park". WTF? After a minute, I finally got out of the seat and when we walked away, my mother called him a d-bag under her breath. I was pretty sure he heard her. He deserved it. Unfortunately, I never got to ride Ride of Steel or the Motocoaster (the motocoaster was not running because of maintenance issues). I hope the park fired that fellow and that no one ever hired him. It's rude, ignorant people like this that make me dread walking into an amusement park.

Over the summer, my cousins and their one friend came down to visit Carowinds with us. Later in the day we rode Hurler. My friend's cousin thought it would be a BRILLIANT idea to SPIT on the first drop. The saliva flew back and landed on some redneck lady's forehead. I assumed my cousin took part in the spitting too (he's not too bright). Anyways when the ride was over, some redneck yelled "one uh'y'all boy's was spittin". His redneck friend started talking too. He said, "Yeah, one of y'all spit on us". So when they got off, they informed the security guard and she threatened to kick us out of the park for life. This next part will seem childish, but I actually started to cry. I've been attached to this park since I started visiting back as a little kid. I'm obsessed with the park. She said to either confess that I spat and she would only collect our information. If I said I didn't (which I really swear to God that I didn't spit), I would be kicked out the park for life. I have a feeling that I was being racially profiled because she really thought I spit, no matter how much I told her I didn't. I was desperate and I let her take my information and now the next time I have a friend with me doing something stupid, I guarantee you that I'll somehow be accused of doing it. I hope that security guard loses her job and doesn't become a police officer because there is more to the law then profiling and interrogating.

The two people above are terrible, terrible people who don't deserve to walk freely among the human race. Ugh.

Wait, let me see if I got this straight...

The people you arrived at the park with spit on a roller coaster as it was going down hill and you are pissed at the security guard and demanding she be fired for taking your name?

^She said she would only take my information if I confessed to spitting (which I swear on my life I didn't) and if I said I didn't spit at all (which was the truth), she would kick me out for life for something- something I DIDN'T do. I was there with 3 other people (one was my brother). My brother and I did not spit. My Cousin and his friend did. Sorry for any confusion there.
