They're not going to start construction until February or March, since the waterpark doesn't open until Memorial Day weekend.

First question: how tall is skyflyer? I am eager to see how tall it will look next to Windseeker.

Second question: has this path always been here?

That is a protective covering over the pavers leading to the construction site. I guess the extra layer was needed because heavier than normal vehicles had to travel through that area.

I'd say it's about 150ft. So half the height of windseeker.

The two back arms of the skyflyer are up today, so I think the Arch should be up by today. I don't know, I could be wrong.

I think this placement of Skyflyer is gonna make it a lot more popular. It was just kinda sitting there in the corner, but now it's next to the two most popular coasters in the park. I guarantee the park will see an influx of profits from it this year.

I totally agree with you on that, however now thrill zone is going to be so dry unless you're a die hard fan of scream weaver and drop zone. Hopefully they give the skycoaster a fresh coat of paint and/or a rust treatment.

Cool to see that its finally gone vertical. I need to go by the park sometime and see if I can get some pictures. Will they put water back in the pond or do you guys think they filled it in......

Nope. It hasn't been painted, well yet at least. I drove near yesterday and could see the rusty parts of the steel. I would think they would, being that it's at the front of the park now tho. It would be hilarious if they did paint it some wild color other than white or silver or just give a light treatment like MF under the supports.
