Cant wait to ride the new and improved hurler. Just wish they revamped it more as in taller and changed the layout a bit  But this will work as well, should definitely be a lot better and with this "revision" the trims should be removed since the whole point was to slow it down because of the curve... not sure the EXACT reason but I remember something to do with the curve and the strain or something?

It's not a bad layout when the ride is running well. Trust me, if it were to run like Thunder Run, hurler could be top 20.

Can't wait to get back on TR and try out a revamped Hurler.

Which hill did it barely make it over? Hurler is most prone to valley on turn 2 prior to the first drop.
In 2006, we actually seen the train come over thr crest of the first drop so slow me and another crew member swear the train may have actually stopped for a few seconds. Of course, the train was empty.

Mid season, normal (90, humid and sunny) and it had trouble on every hill really, rode it later in the season and it was fine. Kind of odd.

Sounds like the graphite either dried up or wasnt applied that day. Graphite is rolled along the track.

That would make sense.

Hurler could definitely be a fun ride this year after this.

I am almost sure they planned this while negotiating the deal with thunder road...I don't think it was a "hey, we got extra money! Can you fix this?" type situation...

But didn't RMC do Thunder Road?

Hurler is not that bad of a ride. The first, and very last turn into the station are the worst parts of the ride.
On a side note, are they finishing the last hills on Thunder Road this year??

RMC retracted Thunder Run, Hurler's cousin at Kentucky Kingdom.
