General Carowinds discussion

Probably. Maybe. I guess? (Yes, I am quoting a post directly above mine, but that's OK if it's a new page :shh: )

LemondsHead, now that you're back, perhaps you might want to catch up on a little reading (or searching) before posting. Everything we know has likely been discussed here already. Fair enough?

I really like the new Culver's Restaurant they opened across Carowinds Blvd. I always ate there in Kentucky and Ohio. Great burgers, sandwiches, and ice cream custard. Now if they would just add a Frisch's Big Boy and a Skyline Chili like they have near King's Island I would really be happy.

QT is a great c-store and I am glad they expanded from Georgia into the Carolinas. And it will be a great addition to Carowinds Blvd to serve tourists and offices in that area.

I am excited for the big rollercoaster that is coming, whatever it may be. But they still need some more flat rides. Such as a giant frisbee or big swing. And some more carnival style rides such as tilt-a-whirl, octopus, cobra, or Himalaya. And what about a super big ferris wheel?

We DEFINITELY need more flats. There's room for one in thrill zone where those stupid games are. A topspin would fit perfectly and be a GREAT addition. Personally, as far as a Dive coaster goes, I think the Vortex flat out sucks. Remove Vortex and put one there. A coaster like Griffon could easily fit in that space and be 5x more efficient, attractive, and fun.

My thoughts exactly. As for flats I definitely agree a top spin, giant swings, giant frisbee, himalayas, calypso and even a chaos would all be great additions in the park and bring back the wave swinger. Is it me or does the flat rides or even coasters over seas are more intense than in the states? I'm just asking I was in Europe last year in Germany and France and took a visit to some theme parks and it just felt like their rides push you to your limits I loved it lol.
