"Here's a peek at the 2014 map, once known as the Xtreme Skyflyer, this year it's the Ripcord! in a new location right in the middle of the park, who wants to jump from 173 feet in the air? wheeeeeeeeee!!"



Also note that Gr8 Sk8 is not on the map...

Ripcord, didnt see that coming. They have still left us wondering about Snoopy's Junction. However, there is the shadow of something next to the restrooms right where the shadow of the train was on last year's map. Has Scooby-Doo found a clue?

Ripcord is a lot easier than saying Xtreme Skyflyer. And it looks like a building replaced Gr8 Sk8 That was a great family ride, it will be missed.

I assume that's the "Festhaus" thing that has been talked about for months. Guess it will open this year.

As for GR8 SK8 no reason for it to not get the "Frenzoid treatment." Clean it up, repaint it, put it elsewhere in the park.

Thats the only reason I could see for all the dirt under Intimidator. Snoopy's Junction is clearly visible on the webcam. Looks like they may be preparing to pour concrete soon.

I really hope they are only moving GR8 SK8 somewhere else in the park. While its not my preferred ride, I'd hate to see it go.

The only thing I h8 about GR8 SK8 is having to be paired with a stranger. I h8 to see it leave, and would rather it be moved to l location in the park.

Gr8 Sk8 was a fun ride, however it is gone for the new food place, Dont count on it anywhere else

The new dining center will be built in the field in front of Intimidator, that's why they are clearing the land, it's standard prep for construction.

The main Entrance should also see construction during this season.

I predict the Gr8 Sk8 will not show back up again, although I'd like it to. I just think that they needed the space in that area (on top of the fact that Gr8 Sk8's been down, off and on, for the last couple seasons) and they just decided to remove it all together. But who knows?...

The only reason that I think Gr8 Sk8 might not be gone yet is because Carowinds hasn't announced anything yet. They didn't come out and say, "this season we'll be removing Gr8 Sk8 to open up a new restaurant", and because they haven't formally announced anything, I still have some doubt that the ride was moved and not removed.
