Now what is wrong with making lemonade? Carowinds has yet to say GR8 SK8 will not return. It could end up like Frenzoid did, and be in storage a season or how Snoopy's Junction did back in 2009 and reopen late. We won't known for sure until Carowinds says, or the ride disappears from Carowinds.com

Well I drove past the park today. Windseeker was in the air spinning away in this good rain. I just cant wait for opening day. I agree with everyone about Gr8 Sk8, it's not my ride at all; I'd rather ride one at a fair where it's more out of control and goes both directions as it use to be as Guantlet, but it's one less flat that Carowinds can not afford to lose. I hope it's relocated or is in fact getting the Frenzoid treatment.

Oh, thats right. Gauntlet was far more intense than Airtime!/GR8 SK8 was. When Old World Marketplace became Nick Central, they shorten the cycle and tamed it.

There's no way. When you have a ride that only has a capacity of like 50 or less an hour (and even that's really pushing it), you have to implement an up-charge. That's the main reason it is a pay-per attraction. If it were free, people would come in droves to ride it and the wait would be immeasurably long.

Yeah, I'm with coasterfreak here. It's just not possible. The official listed capacity is 72 riders per hour, but that is assuming every cycle has 3 riders (highly unlikely), both towers operating with no downtime, and a really efficient crew.

If memory serves correctly, I believe KD has this stall. It's your typical carnival fresh cut fries that can be purchased in different size cups where you can drench them in malt vinegar and other seasonings. I am for sure that 6Flags America in DC have their version that sells buffalo wings and fries.
