I understand that the Cabela's will be more high profile and overall better for the area, but damn if that doesn't suck to see. I'll miss that little mall, it was definitely unique.

Those trailers have been there since the park closed last year.

They're storage trailers. That parking lot won't be used thus year. And they're building a new food court near the front of the park. How is an unused parking lot close to the front an odd place to put trailers?

Which lot in this photo are you all referring to with the trailers? If it is the lot near the top of the photo, they were having an RV liquidation sale going on and those are all RV's.

Cabela's is usually a tourist destination. Think like Bass Pro Shops is but larger scale but since there is already several other similar stores in the area ....Bass Pro, Gander Mountain, etc, this may be why Cabela's chose to build a smaller store here. They are also building 2 other stores in Greenville, SC and the Raleigh area so the store will likely only draw from locals and people traveling on I-77.

The new Cabela's has now opened in Greenville, SC and is reportedly a very nice store. Drawing big crowds. About 90 mins south from Charlotte right off I-85 on Woodruff Rd. exit. Turn right just a few blocks. Magnolia Park.
