General Carowinds discussion

Cedar fair is just being conservative.. I agree Texas giant incident prompted it. Top thrill dragster has them, millennium force has them; why not intimidator. And really why not have them. Yes it will slow down lines but really.. How long of wait is intimidator on a busy day.. 20 min max. We are spoiled with such short waits

:lolno: I don't believe this at all.... B&M is known for safety and I just don't see this happening. If I go back next weekend, I will try to see if its true. I just don't see this as happening at all. Texas Giant is a woodie and totally different ride with more over-banking etc. I just dont see Intimidator being so fast and "harsh" enough to need seat belts. I guess we will see....

I just don't understand how seat belts could even be attached to the current restraints, (which I love by the way). From what I can remember, the lap bar or "T-Bar" as some like to call it, covers your entire lap. Therefore making the need for seat belts pointless. :?

I agree the only way I see seat belts is if they redo the seating. The seat is set in a sort of reclined position which keeps your body back in the seat well at least in the very back, I have yet to sit in the middle or front. Once the lap bar is in place at least for me my whole mid section is secured. I can't even slide up if I wanted. The belts on cobra are retarded too. When I got on and saw them it kinda of changed my whole mood smh

chknwing wrote:so heres the chickie & petes menu. I cant see them having any crab or lobster on the menu. Probably most of their starter menu, crab fries, and possibly cheese steaks.

I found this on their website in regard to their amusement park locations:

The Dorney Park location offers an expansive menu including World Famous Crabfries®, Philly cheesesteaks, Chickie’s cutlets, and burgers.
