A lot of people have been very confident about what the 2015 coaster will or will not be, so let's get it on the record before too many clues start leaking out.

Make your guess for what ride type and manufacturer it will be, then several months from now we'll look back and see who (if anyone) was right.

I don't have much confidence at all in my guess, but I'll start it off: B&M giga coaster similar to Leviathan. I have no idea how that could work with the "world record" statement, but it still seems the most logical possibility.

I'm guessing a B&M giga with a layout similar to Intimidator 305. But I'm hoping for a launch!

It's not an Invert.

And it won't be the only coaster in the US to debut at at least 300' next year...

How do you get all of this information? I'm not saying you're lying, (I already learned my lesson from questioning you with Banshee). Is it the company you work for?

Taking this thread completely off topic.. the enthusiast community is very very small. Everyone knows everyone. If you've been an active member for a long time, you form and cultivate relationships. Like any relationship, sometimes there are 'fringe benefits' where you could be privy to future ride plans, among other things. You can gain a person's trust (and future information) by not blabbing about everything you hear (like Jarsh). But sometimes, depending on the relationship with the person, you can blab all you want since you aren't directly involved in any of the goings on. (See Edwardo  )

It's not difficult to guess who the other 300 foot coaster is going to though. There is a major park in the USA that hasn't received a major "new" coaster in a long long time. And they just cleared out a bunch of space by removing .. uh.. some old 'things.'

Back on topic.. anyone can do a ride type and manufacturer.. how about some stats?

5800 feet long, 307 feet tall, 95 miles per hour, with an 85 degree drop
