Ahhh, the ole hangover excuse....
;)

But, I can also believe that Carowinds will never take out Thunder Road. It's a great coaster even if they don't paint it!

Thunder Road is Carowinds' premier wooden coaster and they do race it this year. If they don't ask, just shout "Let's race!"

Foreseer-

Why do you say I have never raced? Trust me, I have a feeling I have been involved in more races here than you or anyone on this board. Now I'm not trying to commit a falicy statement by saying that, it's just I have been involved with it for years. I know the thrill and excitment, esp. when you win. But racing coasters? Come on. I'm not saying I don't like it. But I mean the excitment you get when you "win" a race on Thunder Road doesn't nearly match what you get if you do it by yourself i.e...in track or motor sports. marathon or whatever. So please, do not make falicy by saying I have never raced because you are certainly wrong about that.

1) Anybody that lives near PKI or PKD know if they race Rebel Yell and the Racer? I was wondering if those parks the other day?

2) I think part of the fun is racing. Its always a blast to pick at the other train sometimes. Believe it or not, there are people who get into the racing aspect of the coaster. You may not race when you are on the return trip to the station but, its always fun to see who makes it back to the brake run first. It's probably too late but maybe some kind of set up similar to Lightning Racer saying who wins, etc might help.

3) I'm going to check into the racing thing myself soon. I'm sure we'd like to have the coasters racing come August (hint....hint)

I have raced a couple of times, they asked everyone in the station if they wanted to race, and we all yelled yes.
