I find this very hard to believe.

This ride has terrible capacity. Alpengeist, Apollo and Griffon are all B&M monsters with 3 (or more for Griffon) trains to keep the lines moving quick. Verbolten has 4 trains pretty much going at all times which keeps the line in constant motion.

It's a clone too? Other than Great White at Sea World San Antonio, Busch has never been a company to invest heavily in clones, I don't know why they would start now.

This doesn't make a bit of sense to me. Hopefully it's a delayed April Fools joke.

I've heard rumblings about what the other Busch parks will be getting for their next coasters. This definitely doesn't line up with the past or (potential) future of what the chain is doing.

Having said that, I'd welcome it. I'm sure lines would be horrific, though.

I could imagine the long wait for this, after going to SFoG and waiting a few hours for DDD and it has multiple trains, I could see this being a disaster. Guess we will just have to wait and see...

My understanding is that the Busch parks have been hit pretty hard with budget cuts recently, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if they went for something cheaper for their next major ride.

alot of people hate BG adding this coaster because of low capacity. IMO, any new ride they add will help out with capacity for the other rides. Every ride cant be a people eater. Parks need to have a diversity to their rides.

I mean, every ride definitely can be a people eater. You definitely don't see Disney or Universal adding low capacity rides. Screamscape said it best:

A little quick math will tell you that if they can manage to dispatch a train cycle every 3 minutes, the ride only has an hourly capacity of 240 riders per hour. Now compare this to the theoretical capacity of Apollo’s Chariot, which is said to be capable of up to 1,750 riders per hour. It hardly seems fair doesn’t it? Even if the park is open for 14 hours (10am to Midnight), assuming zero downtime, this new coaster will only thrill 3,500 park guests maximum in a single day. When the park racks up 18,000 to 30,000 guests a day during the busy summer season, only a fraction of the park’s guests will be able to ride this thing.

I get the capacity comments. What I don't get are the comments on that site about how disappointing the ride will be, simply because it's a clone...that they haven't ridden.

Every ride can be a capacity hog, but every ride doesn't have to be. I guess we'll see how it goes.

I'm glad to get one close.

I think it would be a very cool ride beacause you will be upside down at 150ft in the air.... I am also a huge fan of launch coasters so, even though this design is very simple, I still think it will pack a "punch" so to speak and be a huge hit. I guess any new ride will be a huge hit though.... Maybe this design will not be a 100% clone, maybe it will be similar and have some additional or something, I guess its always possible they make the train longer or have a new concept train that holds more people, I guess anything could be possible....and I wish it would happen. I will definitely go to the park to ride this, I just don't think I would be up there on the opening day, possibly on media day if possible, but I could see it being hrs to ride it... Guess only time will tell...
