Hey guys, I'm going to Dollywood for the first time this Monday and am really excited! I've heard over and over again that Dollywood's food is simply incredible, and though I never typically eat in-park, I really want to try some of this great food. Now my question is, what is the best thing(s) to get to eat?

Any other suggestions or tips for when I'm in the park are also very much appreciated!

You are going to want to try Granny Ogle's or Aunt Granny's. I would also mention buy the souvenir cup and ask for a cup of water at stores so that way you can get a good deal on drinks because you are going to need it.

The only thing you HAVE to eat us cinnamon bread from the grist mill.

Anything else you pass by that looks good will be good. All the food at Dollyfood is great.

Also the Coke store in front of Wild Eagle has good cookies for 2 for a dollar I think. Also Start at Thunderhead and work your way by Mystery Mine and so on so you will end up at all of the restaurants by the time you are hungry.

They have great cheesesteaks at around $6 if I remember correctly.

YES THANK YOU! I knew it was something like that, but I couldn't remember. I think I'm gonna have something from Sausage Works or the Aunt Granny's Buffet. I'll see when I get there!

I second that on the cinnamon bread. We never go without getting a loaf.

I don't think the quality of the food is at the level we've gotten at Disney and Universal but it's clearly a close second.

I went to Dollywood this past Monday and came home with a very heavy stomach. I simply ate at every restaurant I could get to. I wish carowinds had food selections that you couldn't get anywhere but carowinds or at least southern or Carolinian cuisine. Maybe it'll be in Harmony Hall.

I rode Thunderhead at least 4x. That woodie is awesome and pack a good punch with no trim at all. Mystery Mine have always been a favorite full of surprises. I'll take Wild Eagle over Gatekeeper and Tennesee Tornado over any arrow looper any day. It was incredibly smoother than other arrows and the inversions are huge and awesome. Fire Chaser is a nice family launch coasters for the juniors who cant yet ride the big coasters. All the flats are great as well.
