Well now... things just got REAL interesting in Santa Claus. :)

That's what I commented on in their comments. It's just like the B&M markings.

I'm starting to think there has to be some sort of water element given the theme and the marketing campaign. Screamscape had a good post today speculating that it could be a Mack water coaster. I could definitely see that happening, with an entrance from Thanksgiving and from Splashin' Safari kind of like how Pilgrim's Plunge/Giraffica was.

If you guys are right about the B&M markings, I could also see it being a B&M with a water splash element.

Could this project have anything to do with the yellow B&M track from a few weeks ago?

I suppose it's possible, but wouldn't there have been news about the dismantling of the ride by now. From what I've seen, it's pretty massive and I feel like deconstruction would have already begun.

I don't think it makes sense given the topography of the site and I don't think buying a used coaster like that is something Holiday World would do. Whatever they build I suspect there will be something original and unique about it.

I know a lot of the people in the coaster industry like to joke about a park getting an aquatrax, but I think this might be a legit chance at getting one. Especially now that their talking out the big water ride too.

Edit: and the whole 66 days ship theme too.

Just saw this posted somewhere. Not sure how accurate it is or if someone made it up for fun, but either way it adds a bit of mystery to what the new project might be.

The Indianapolis Tribune wrote:Here's a clue. It's not from the park but it does come from someone who's "in the know".
"At around 2:30 PM yesterday, Mr. Davis Loren and his wife, who both oversee a small construction site near the Holiday World theme park in Santa Claus, Indiana, reported to the police that a few items had been stolen during the couple's lunch break. In addition, the thieves left behind a very unusual piece of evidence: a poster handing on a wall in the semi-completed house which contained a periodic table had the table cut out, and on the wall next to the defaced poster was written a series of numbers, as follows: 37-42-6. This is the only clue police currently have concerning this crime. If anyone has an idea as to what this might mean, or who may be responsible for the incident, they are asked to call [phone number excised]."

Now, if you look at the corresponding numbers on the periodic table, you get Rubidium (37), Molybdenum (42), and Carbon (6). Checking out the first letter of those, you get everyone's favorite "hybrid" coaster manufacturer; RMC.

I'm with you... I've heard B&M invert for months now and this is the first I've seen of anything other than that. Hell, look at the footers that have been poured so far. I've never seen and RMC footer look like those. I'm still leaning towards a B&M invert and maybe this was something a fan boy with a pipe dream made up, lol.

I'd be interested to see what they (Holiday World) can do with something from B&M. Their woodies have had a lot of design input from the park (and enthusiasts) so if it is, it'll be interesting to see what they come up with.
