My uncle works at Carowinds and since I just moved from Richmond, he got me and my wife passes so I could see the differences in Kings Dominions, Busch Gardens and Carowinds.

The Good Things
- The park was clean
- The intimidator was really great. I was amazed how different it was from Kings Dominions
- I love chick fil a, so that was great. (although a little expensive)
- The signage. Its suttle but available to those who look for it. I don't like being blasted by marketing all the time.
- I also like the funnel cakes. And the funnel cake place was really nice.
- The new slides are nice. (They need more though)

The Bad Items
- I don't mind paying money, but the food needs to be a better quality
- Parking needs help
- The staff needs to be more excited and friendly
- Some of the rides seem dated. I don't mean the Hurler, (I mean the Cobra)
- They seemed lost in their message. Kings Dominion and Busch Gardens seem to have an identity. Carowinds seems to be searching for one.
- I wish they had more beer options (although I heard that new building will have more)
- The night hawk ride line took too long.
- They need more middle of the road coasters. My wife doesn't like the big ones. She likes the "Tween Rides"

We will be buying Season Passes soon.

Other than the fact that they are both called the Intimidator and they are both red, they could not be more different.

Kings Dominion's Intimidator it taller, faster and seems more like a NASCAR ride, while Carowinds Intimidator is more of a bunny hopping type of ride.

I still like Kings Dominions Intimidator more.
