I imagine alot of us would.

I vote a big fat NO to that one.

I don't know why so many people rave about Maverick, it's not that great to me and yes I did ride it.

And I have no idea what they are getting. I just hope I'm surprised with whatever it is.

I like Maverick a lot but it seems to me that the new Mack launched coasters can do everything it does but a lot better. I think we'll see more and more of those Mack rides start popping up. Would love for Carowinds to install one for their next major steel coaster after this one.

It might be unfair to post here now after the Fury 325 trademark has come out but here is my guess

B&M Giga, 325ft, including a figure 8 turnaround

I have been searching the internet FOREVER and I have found this:
Definately B&M
Probably over 300 ft.
Maybe Giga maybe Wing
Maybe over front gate

I personally hope it will be a B&M moving seated wing coaster

I have this weird feeling that all the people on here who "know" what the ride is, manufacturer, etc. are double-crossing the rest of us. Looking at the newfound blueprints, the layout and the way the footers are placed don't remind me at all of what a B&M looks like, at least not something similar to Leviathan. Yes, it goes in the general same footprint as Leviathan, but look at the element right before the tunnel under the other new walkway. That doesn't look B&M-esque to me. Im starting to think this may turn out to be a big surprise for those of us who know nothing...

Everyone says that Cedar Fair won't work with Intamin again because of the problems with I-305. As an employee who works I-305, it doesn't have any issues no other ride can't possibly have. Intimidator 305 is a hit, so much that people complain when we have to open it 5 minutes later than usual (which I don't understand because I personally don't like majority of the ride).

With that said, my guess is going to be a 300 ft version of skyrush and here is my reasoning:

Intimidator 305 is a giga version of Intamin's mega-lite models. Some of you may not know any of them (I didn't for a while), but look at:

Piraten: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Y6KpGtNnRQ&t=0m43s

Kawasemi is another model that shares a similar layout. I was surprised how similar the layouts were (and the initial problems with 305's turn was probably because they thought it would be sufficient because it worked with the Mega-Lite models).

Reading around, I found Skyrush being mentioned as a proto-type, and the moment I heard that a Cedar Fair representative said Giga and Wing Coaster in the same sentence, I instantly thought 300 ft Skyrush. After seeing the layout, I am locking-in my answer of a 315 foot Skyrush reaching around 96-100 mph.

My thoughts exactly. I would also much prefer that over a B&M anything at this point. Skyrush is a FANTASTIC ride, and I can't imagine what it would be like with a 300 foot drop. It would be breathtaking to say the least... Plus people who go to Carowinds are different than people who go to Wonderland. Canada doesn't have many parks like it, so they will be fine with two very similar looking roller coasters being in the same park. Its not the same for Carowinds.

I just hope and pray it ain't B&M for those reasons...

Fury 325 sounds more like a skyrush type coaster but I believe someone in the know on this forum has already 100% confirmed it will be B&M

Those who have "confirmed" anything may just be tricking us. They may know everything about the ride, but are covering up the truth for whatever reason, may it be the joy of watching us "confirm" something we know little to nothing actually about, or to save their butts. I will, to be completely fair, be extremely happy with whatever we get, but my gut feeling tells me this isnt a B&M.

Is that not a possibility?

Nope. It's a B&M, there is nothing to be gained by lying to people, or leading them on, especially with everything that's come out now.

I think a majority of people poking fun at I-305 were talking about them having to re-do the entire first turn after it's first year. That's not a sign of good engineering. And also the restraints. Terrible restraints when it opened, slightly less terrible now.

No one is being intentionally misled by me, or by other trusted members of this forum if that answers your question.

What am I doing on the Official 2015 Guess Thread - thought I recanted myself.

EDIT: I personally wished the latest blueprints (that I had no prior knowledge of) wouldn't have been exposed at all, but some blogger looking for votes had to do what he had to do I suppose.
