General Carowinds discussion

Relaying a message that was posted to the Carowinds Connection Facebook page yesterday in case anyone is interested:

Hey guys! My name is Nick Stubbs and I am a Casting Agent here at Magilla Entertainment, a TV Production Company located in New York City. We have produced shows such as Long Island Medium, Moonshiners, Warped Roadies, and etc. We are currently producing a new series entitled The United States of Amusement, a show all about amusement parks. There will be six episodes and in each episode, three parks will be featured. There will be a host who is a blank slate, does not know anything about these parks. We are casting for the "superfan" to take the host around each park and show him the ins and outs. I was hoping you guys could help me find superfans for Carowinds! Let me know if this is a possibility! Thank you! Please email me at nstubbs1212@gmail.com or nstubbs@magilla.tv. Thanks!

It would be great to see a member of this forum on the show!

This particular episode will feature Carowinds, Dollywood and Silver Dollar City with the shoot dates on 8/1, 8/6, & 8/8. At this time it isn't determined which park will be on what day though so if you want to be featured, make sure you are available those dates.

It was a lot of fun! There were two people giving the interview, both of whom were as nice as could be and very fun and friendly. Hopefully I'll get it!!!!

The guy, Nick, also mentioned that if there was anyone with 'superfandom' for Dollywood, they need that as well.

I am probably Dollywood's biggest nerd, but I live 4 and a half hours away.
