There was an incident at the Borg Assimalator. A woman was taken away on a stretcher with an iv in her. The ride was then closed for several hours. I could not find a news article on the incident. If anyone has more info please post.

No thats a bunch of bull the ride would not be running for awhile if it did

Could be true, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Someone could have gotten dehydrated for all we know. If that report is true, then the injury/accident did not involve the coaster.

I must be blind as I saw nothing on this incident. Surely News14 or Channel 9 would have said something by now.
Anyway if she was injured by Borg then the ride would still be closed untill an official investigation was held.
As hot as it is she probably got dehydrated or the loop was too G intense for her.

Last saturday they did escort someone away on a stretcher, however it was a guy and it was one of the "freaks" if thats what people call them the ones with baggy clothes and makeup. Anyway i dont know what happend but they hang out over by the borg sphere and they came and hauled a guy off on a stretcher. So that rumor about that happening on the ride not true. THey ddint close the ride down because taht was when i was goin to get in line but it was sooooooo huge it was probaly about a 2 1/2 or 3 hr wait. They had those rope thing stretched clear to the edge by the skytower and people were cuved around it was horrible. I hope this clears this up a little =)

Last saturday when we were waiting in line for Top Gun, they brought a stretcher towards the elevator to go up to the loading station. Someone probably passed out too. I think the ride was stopped at the time, and Top Gun never gets stopped usually.

Are people just insane the park gives you free ice water. If I get to that point I allways go get some water. That guy you were talking about...I think I know who it was he is at carowinds all the time. I even seen him last year when I went to the park about 2 times a week. He allways has these black wrestling boots on.
