I took a friend to Carowinds this past saturday. I've never seen it so crowded before in my life, but I havent been on a saturday in a very long time either. We got in line for Borg as soon as the park opened. I think I saw Jonathan in the single rider line at the top when we were in lane 4 waiting to be boarded. I was the dude in a red cutoff shirt and my friend had a landrum cardinals cutoff shirt (incase you saw me jonathan, i thought i had recognized you)...
My friend Charles had never rode anything with a loop in it...so borg was his first real coaster (and what a great first one to pick! hah). He loved it and we ended up riding everything that day like he said he'd promised. I think he liked Top Gun the most out of all the rides though.
Just thought I'd share my saturday experience. There were lots of groups there I noticed. Oh yeah...
This dude tried to hit on this girl in the Top Gun line while we were waiting in it. The girl actually had her boyfriend with her (over 6 feet tall might i add) and she was held back from hitting the guy, and then she broke free and then hit the dude a couple times with her fists, making him bend over the rail in the Top Gun line, while she screamed all kinds of profanity lol. Everyone was laughing at the dude b/c he was obviously stupid for tryin to hit on this girl. The girl got real upset and her mom grabbed her and put her back in line. She was probably around 20 or something. I couldnt' believe what happenned though, as it was right next to us in the line coming towards our direction. That guy was such an idiot though. He thought he was pimp with his friend wearing clemson shirts and hats, lol... too bad the dude was crosseyed. There's no way he could be goin to college! Esp. after hitting on a girl with a boyfriend right next to her. :blink:
