Right. That's just what they did with Banshee at Kings Island. It's in there Thrill Zone and the station is a Gothic Church, with Delirium right in front and their Xtreme flyer and drop tower close by as well.

Guys...the congo section in kings dominion has a volcano themed roller coaster, an bobsled themed roller coaster, a space themed roller coaster, a snake themed roller coaster, a city themed roller coaster AND a nascar racing themed roller coaster...I'm sure whatever the supposed roller coaster name/theme is it will never reach the level the congo section has reached hahahaha!

If there is to be a Roman theme to the Thrill Zone, please let it be like this:

Drop Tower- Pluto's Plunge (Pluto is the Roman god of death) (Repainted)

Scream Weaver- The Wheel of Ixion (Ixion was the king of the Lapith's and betrayed Zeus. He was punished by being tied to a wheel that was always spinning.)

Hurler- Cerberus: (A three headed dog type creature of the underworld), and all three turns are re-made by GCI with trims removed, new trains, and better theming)

Gr8 Sk8 relocated and restored to its original intensity- The Mace

And finally...

Centurion- 330 foot Giga, 98 mph.

I really don't see a retheme to Thrill Zone happening. Now I could see Gauntlet returning and some repaving, tree planting, ect. to make the area look a little nicer but that's about it. And I'd be more than happy with that (especially if we got Gauntlet back)

With all the talk of theming I'd just be happy for the "soul" of Carowinds to remain and return in areas.

Honestly if I want a Theme, as some of you are describing, I will go to Disney. Some of you can discuss that a Carolina theme is the same but it is not. I'm speaking more of an atmosphere.

Try thinking of Carowinds for the atmosphere and memories. A lot of us old timers, since 1973, knew when you were in Carowinds you were in the Carolinas. I have been fortunate to raise my kids with some of the same memories before Carowinds got de-Carolinad. Now there is about 4 more years before my grandkids can enjoy Carowinds and hopefully share some of the same memories I have through out the years.

I personally think C.F. is keeping this in mind as they grow our regional park into a destination park and want to keep it a Carolina park. Now, if we could just get energetic employees on all the attractions to share that it would be awesome.

You said it bruh. Let it remain thrill zone but add some thrills to it. I have no problem with the coaster being called Centurion and put in tz. Stranger things have happened before.
