those would be 2 huge dry basins just manage storm water. greet customers with the million mosquitos breeding in those things lol

Funny you say that. I've never seen or been bitten by a single mosquito at the park, and mosquitos love me. I wonder if they spray the park (daily, weekly, monthly, seasonally, whatever)

Those are dry basins, they won't be breeding Mosquitos. The only time they'll have water is during runoff. And since they're placed where they're widening the entrance lanes, I'd say they're bigger due to the much wider and likely more heavily used road. It starts to widen where the first one is.

I definitly think that we will receive the biggest announcment in the parks history in terms of what they announce.
For refrence: For 2010 they announced Intimidator and Planet Snoopy.

Now for 2015 I know we will see a new coaster. We may see the return of the gauntlet in the Thrill Zone area which would be great. I think we may also see a new flat somewhere. Also the announcment will also most likely entitle details to Scarowinds considering it opens 3 weeks after the announcment. Could we also see some details about Hurler getting MF trains and more retracking? I feel like we have our standards very low and they know it. Julie is always watching!

I know for sure that this announcment is going to make us look...words can't describe. It's going to blow us all away in ways that we never thought before.

Sorry for the rant. All the excitement is just making me want to blow a gasket. I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! When August 21st gets here I'm just going to lose it...

Pure speculation, but it keeps being discussed that the August 21st announcement is to be the biggest in the park's history. Some here have even speculated that in addition to the toll plaza and the new coaster, we will be receiving a new flat ride as well. As we are now aware, the building housing the Asylum has been emptied and all outside theming removed. I am just wondering if anyone else believes that a new flat could potentially be built at this location if the building is removed as well. It seems to me that a Top Spin or the like would fit nicely back there.
