Well...its kinda just an amusement park. I wouldn't take the fact that it has kinztel's name on it to heart. No one is going around pinning purple hearts on dick...for all we know he may have been in the military. I just never given much thought to or paid much attention to such a minor observation.

arby, I know where you are coming from. I have not been in the military but my Son just got out. He did his time mainly in Bamberg Germany but he did 18 months in two locations in Iraq when it was on the news non stop. The things he tells me chills me to the bone. Every time he sees someone in uniform he makes a comment on it not being worn correctly or they are wearing the wrong uniform for the occasion. Just yesterday he spotted a soldier with the sleeves rolled up incorrectly and pointed it out to me. So yea, I see where you are coming from.

But who's name would you put on it without opening another can of worms? Maybe they could just remove the name? Maybe they could put on it In Honor of our Troops? I think whatever is put there someone's going to have a comment about it.

As a veteran myself, I can find far more things to offend me than some part of a roller coasters theming. I dont go to theme parks looking for historical accuracy, I go to ride roller coasters and to escape the realities of life. If, as a veteran, you are not offend by people wearing the American flag as articles of clothing, as it violates the United States Flag Code then why get offended by some theming on a roller coaster? I see people wearing pieces of the military uniform as a "fashion statement" who didn't earn it like I did...do I pitch a hissy fit and gripe about it? Nope, I can care less...I have bigger fish to fry...and bigger coasters to ride.

If the fact that the skytower is fashion in the style of the american flag doesnt offend then why does some themed roller coaster do the job?

So...basically we understand...we just dont get why something so minute is getting so much attention.
