I'm with the guy who said that they needed to scrap it and start over. Scarowinds used to be fun. Now its positively boring. The scare zones are lame. The only one I've ever liked was the vampire one. That one should have been a full fledged maze. Its gotten to be where its the sames mazes every year. Also, I find it hard to be scared when you can hear a coaster, see the skytower, or see the waterslides ahead of you. I really like Scarowinds. But, its getting harder and harder to decide if I'm going each year. Its like they're trying to be universal on a dollar tree budget sometimes. Maybe with all the plans for the parks future, that 50 million will show Scarowinds some love.

^ Couldn't agree with you more Max. I have not been to Scarowinds in 4 years. You know, at one time I heard a "rumor" that they were going to do an 18 year and older section so they could bring out the fear without worrying with the kiddies. When they built the maze by Hurler I just knew that section of the park would be for us, sadly it didn't happen.

What could be done to improve Scarowinds? Revamp the entire thing. Leave no grave undone, leave no skeletons in the closet. Get people who really know how to theme and act. Don't just jump out at you. Be creepy.

There appears to be work being done on the Asylum. It's the same frame as the Asylum but there is no logo. I'll upload pictures later.

If this is the final maze count then this is not going to be good.. Hopefully the page is a work in progress and there are still some secrets I haven't extracted.

Wow, they're keeping Silver Scream? Wonder how that's gonna work. The usual route to the maze is around the go karts and in between Ripcord, but Ripcord got relocated and the go karts are gone. Now that area is just a construction zone. If I had to bet, I'd have to guess the Silver Scream will be where Fury was.

Oh.. and in case anyone cares.. I only saw one show listed: Eternal Jamnation (time to change it up folks.. same thing year after year gets stale) and I did not see anything about Blood Drums (I didn't say get rid of it.. I said move it to a location that didn't cause a traffic jam during every performance.)

FYI.. the test pages I saw are now removed and link back to the main carowinds site... so that's all the info I have..
