My wish: take out Nighthawk and replace it with an Intamin similar to Maverick! I rode it yesterday and it was honestly incredible. This is far fetched, but that's why it's on the wishlist!

I may be the only one who thinks this but, I really like Nighthawk even though it jerks you around a bit. It is just a fun ride and the loop is very intense.

Rides do not have to be removed!! There's plenty of room to add a compact launcher. Every ride doesn't have to have it's own plot of land, I wouldn't mind seeing a coaster interact with another.

EXACTLY! I think Carowinds should focus on expanding its coaster count and different types of coasters. Not removing them, especially one that like it or not, is fairly popular.

I'd like, first and foremost, a launched coaster. Maybe something like Blue Fire in the area accross from Carolina Cobra or in the wooded area beyond Drop Tower/ Hurler.

First off, Carowinds doesn't own the land behind Hurler. Yet anyway. I've had many fantasies about a GCI woodie careening through those woods.

Secondly, is Nighthawk ACTUALLY popular, or does the terrible capacity and maintenance issues just keep the line long? I'm all for removing that Vekoma hunk of junk for something that doesn't break down every 5 minutes or something that can run more than one train every 15 minutes. Wouldn't it be more beneficial to the park to add something that decreases their maintenance budget, increases capacity, and keeps the guests out of a hour or more long line?

What do I know though, my only background in amusement park management is Roller Coaster Tycoon.

^The GP seem to love Cobra and Nighthawk, even with their terrible capacity and slow moving lines. Not that many people I know say that Intimidator and Afterburn are the park's best rides.

I'm not very intrigued with flat rides. I can't do the spinning, which is why I haven't stepped foot on Scream Weaver since 2011. I'd like to see a Huss Giant Frisbee and a Screamin' Swing, but other than that, I think we're good. The one flat ride I enjoyed the most was taken out of the park (Gauntlet/GR8 SK8).

I wish the park would add a skyride. Not that it's needed, but it would still be fun to see the park from it. Action Theater's building needs to be re-purposed, because it's just boring. If I want to see a movie, I'll go to my local AMC theater. I go to an amusement park to be thrilled.

The best use of the Action Theater was it's original concept - Days Of Thunder. Everything after that just doesn't cut the mustard. Hey... since we got Intimidator loosely themed to racing, maybe we can go get DOT back, haha!

While it's not a POV, it still gets me pumped up!

The GP loves the Cobra and Nighthawk and actually I was able to get through the Nighthawk line in about 45 minutes on a Saturday and I don't think it ever broke down in that time period.

My take on Nighthawk:
It's a simple coaster that just adds to the lineup. I would rather keep the coaster than remove it when Carowinds can just expand. Plus, for the park it is a quality coaster and provides a unique riding experience. I do think that Paramount knew what they were doing when they took this coaster out at CGA. They knew it had problems and a waterpark was worth it in its place. It was only there for 3 years. Keep Nighthawk where it is and take out the Cyclone.

All of my GP friends LOOOVE nighthawk, and I constantly hear it around the park, too. Personally I like it a lot too, its good fun, not too rough and its different from everything else in the park. I would ride it more if the line wasn't so long all the time.

I love Nighthawk. There really just aren't many rides like it, and the experience is unique. That's why people rave about it. If it weren't popular, then people wouldn't wait 90+ minutes for it.

Sure it has issues, but it adds to the variety and provides a riding experience that no other coaster at the park can.

I would rather have the riverboat than Nighthawk....
Superman, come save us from the Vekoma hunk of junk. I will ride Cobra before I will ride Nighthawk.

Scream Weaver is not bad at all just rest your head back and close your eyes, I can fall asleep on that ride or take Dramamine or something for motion sickness. You do know Frisbees spin as well right? I don't think we will ever be good there's always room for more bring the frisbee and screamin swings, but just don't stop there. Face after the years go by they will need something to keep guest coming. I'd like to even see a challenge park will it happen doubt it but is a wishlist.

I get really sick on spinning rides too but for whatever reason I can handle stuff like Screamweaver. I think it's because it's a constant G force in a constant direction; it's the directional changes that get me. Screamin' Swings are one of the only big flat rides that I really enjoy, so I would be all for one of those.

Dramamine has not been working for me so well lately, but I'm giving bonine a try next time. It's a curse to love rides but have motion sickness.
