I love Cedar Point to death, but it's the most overrated park ever. Everyone has bought in so hard to it's own hype and all of the Discovery Channel shows they watched in the 1990s. It's still wonderful though and Magnum is the best.

I personally prefer Knoebels, Europapark, Alton Towers, Holiday World, Kennywood, and probably Dollywood and Silver Dollar City.

Cedar Point would be in my top ten, though.

I forgot about Busch Gardens. Both of those would be above too. I didn't really love Port Aventura though.

Jay is an excessive Cedar Point hater though. :)

I rank IOA over Cedar Point, also, although I'm not a Cedar Point hater.

EDIT: Cedar Point is highly overrated although a good park.

EPCOT is my personal favorite Disney park, though it's hard to beat Magic Kingdom for nostalgia purposes. Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom are amazing too, but could certainly use more "stuff."

Sometimes I like to do other things other than ride rides. At Cedar Point this can be tough to do.

The point is, you don't "HAVE" to go to Cedar Point to be considered an "enthusiast." You can call yourself one whenever you want.

Chris, let's not belittle members here.. I'm sure Atombomb has a long list of parks that he has been to, to make this very informed decision that Cedar Point is best super amazing park #1!

I have always said it's difficult to be an enthusiast if you haven't been to Kennywood. I think they have a very good collection of coasters, especially their three wooden coasters.
