With the addition of a "Haunt Only" pass, do y'all think that Carowinds is preparing to go the way of Knott's Scary Farm next year? I believe that I read somewhere that starting this year, the gold and platinum passes will no longer work for their (Knotts') Haunt.

Gold and Platinum never worked at Knotts Scary Farm. It's always been a separate ticket.

Looks like London Terror may move. Location TBA, hmmmm that could go in the midway by screaweaver. According to season pass section on the website, gold and platinum holders still have the benefit of free entry into Scarowinds. Of course they could edit the site overnight.

I see on Carowinds.com that they are now offering SCarowinds season passes, regular season passes are still good for SCarowinds.

I think that if they've already renamed F.U.R.Y. after only two seasons, the coaster will have something to do with the "Fury" name.

They probably will re route the quene somewhere, maybe from the other side of hurler. it'll just be long like Defex.

I could see the new entrance to Silver Scream being in the corner near the first turn on Hurler and Drop Tower's benches. Possibly.

The only realistic reason I can see Fury being renamed Viral is if Fury is going be utilized in another way. Unfortunately for me, I hate the Fury325 name. I'm crossing my fingers for Centurion, or just plain Fury, or a left-field new name.

Scarowinds will be great if only for seeing our new King Coaster being slowly crowned.

I suppose the only other way to silver scream is going around to the other side of Hurler, which means the line would start at the gates between drop tower and hurler.

For scare zones, there is a new one I believe, called the "new" blood yard, which is going in to shade arbor (new part of the park?). Does any of this have to do with next year?

Mazes & Scare Zones

The Shade Arbor is the canopy by Vortex which houses Feeding Frenzy. I guess Blood Yard is an upgrade to that scare zone.
