Alright, here's my last guess on the name:

I have just a normal sized brain, and even my normal sized brain knows that they wouldn't spend 25 million dollars on a coaster and only have the theme locked down for 5 years. I'm sure their lawyers got it all straightened out where they could renew it at the same rate, or have it locked down for 20 years, or whatever.

It's possible though that they have an escape clause in it where they can get out of the deal whenever they want... and now that it won't be the biggest in the park, maybe they don't think it NEEDS the license since it's no longer the main draw of the park?

i agree but it would not be that expensive to replace the name sign, and repaint the car. But I'm with you, it would not be a good use of money to change it so soon. Honestly, I don't ever expect it to change. It serves as a great monument to Dale. If i were a family member and Fair want to end it because of the cost, I would let them use it for free.

I could personally see Afterburn receive the Centurion overhaul. All they would really need to do is give it a fresh coat of paint, re-theme the shark trains and put a big new sign saying "Centurion". Just a thought.

As for the new coaster, my opinion is swinging more towards the Fury 325 name.

Afterburn was just repainted this past offseason, highly doubtful they would repaint it again that quickly.

I'm sure from the recent page on Carowinds that the Centurion name is dead in the water. I think a name like Hugo's Fury would be an awesome name and would fit the Carolina theme very well everyone who was here in 1989 remembers that storm.

Just above the bottom count down timer, "Something BIG is gonna happen! Hac risus enim turpis elit. In sit penatibus," is written. The second part translates to, "This code for the photo. In the submissions." (btw no idea what language it is written in)

Afterburn was just repainted this past offseason, highly doubtful they would repaint it again that quickly.

And it's not like painting a house. It cost in the neighborhood of $250,000 to repaint Afterburn. It is extremely unlikely that they would repaint it so soon.

The teasers have just been ALL OVER THE PLACE over the last 3 months... This is the second Centurion teaser (that I know of). I just don't know anymore. But fortunately, only 10 more days left!

this isnt a teaser, this is a web designer prepping the website and making a huge mistake of working on it live or its a troll as I have no idea what this has to do with a burned net.

Of course, the teaser is not on rotation on the main screen - reverting back to a blackened countdown teaser without all of the Centurion branding, but the link still works, so who knows?
